This is the history of the band so far.
More will be written when more stuff happens.
Let's take a trip through time, shall we?
Okay, here goes, fasten your seatbelts ladies and gents, back to the futu.. uh.. past!
May 2006:
Hazon and Jontza are making a shortfilm (no, those are not our real names) and need music for it, so they go in the studio owned by friend, Puxi, who drums on the first song ever made (entitled "The making of a making" <--- same as the movie title).
Just for the heck of it Hazon and Jontza decide to credit the music to Lesbian Seagull (heh.. after watching Beavis & Butthead: Do America), the band is born.
Around half a year later Hazon and Jontza start talking about really doing something with the band, start writing more songs and finding a drummer.
Enter Puxi, crazy guy who lives in the middle of a damn field just alongside the freeway. Hmm.
Now we were rocking out loud!
December 2006:
Days roll by and so does music. The band finally gets their first EP done.
The EP carries the name "Master-bait EP" and was limited to around 13 copies.
Lesbian Seagull now had actual songs and wanted to do something that not every band does (yes, that is sarcasm), a release party for the first EP they've ever made!
The party takes place at the studio the band had been recording in at the 9th of December 2006.
Keep in mind, no one had ever heard the new material but still the party draws in a big crowd.
Okay, time to play live! But wait, where's Jontza?
Oh that's right, he's passed out outside on the lawn. Damnit.
Live show cancelled, but still the EP sells out! NICE!
January 2007:
After a short winter break the band starts writing new material.
Many song ideas come up, many song ideas are trashed.
Hmm.. Not looking good.
March 2007:
The band finally gets their stuff together and records a 2-track demo entitled "Brainfart".
The demo contains 2 songs; "Gay Bear Incorporated" and "Old Folks" (the latter will never be heard again, we hate it).
A limited edition of cd's are made combining the "Master-bait EP" and the "Brainfart" demo.
Lesbian Seagull now made some more fans!
As usual, a release party is held at the studio! March 17th 2007!
Great success, not all fans could make it, but a nice heap of people made it after all.
We love our fans.
April 2007:
Hazon and Jontza start talking/planning Lesbian Seagull - THE MOVIE.
Let's see what's gonna happen with that.
Lesbian Seagull also got a fourth member, Hernekettu, who plays lead guitars.
May 2007:
Puxi got kicked out of the band because he didn't enjoy making the music the rest of the band wanted to do and just couldn't keep up.
The band got more heavy and heavy and Puxi didn't really like it and didn't take it seriously anymore so he had to go.
June 2007:
Jukester took the band's drummer spot. Booya!
September 2007:
Hernekettu left the band to focus on his mainband: Chaos Infinitum. We all still remain friends so don't you worry your little heads over that.
So, the past months have been pretty fun! Big thanks to all our fans for making them fun!
